Shane plays "Travis Conners" and appears in 43 episodes of Season One and Season Two. Shane and fellow actor Hugh McLean are very good friends in real life and it was Hugh who introduced Shane to Dave Christiano. Shane can do many different accents, as indicated in the first scene of Season One's Episode #16 entiled, "Andi". Shane wanted to shave off his beard before Season Two began production and thus inspired the storyline for the opening episode, "A New Look".
